the guy reminds me of that air cav col in Apocalypse now,,no matter how much incoming is falling around him,,he never get's a scratch!  plus,,his uniform is always clean!

this guys seems to be very bored with his life. some people go skydiving, scuba diving, hiking etc....i myself love to shoot guns. this guy decides to go to libya and fight along rebels.....the man has balls. lol

Matthew seems much more proficient in his skills from the first article and he is sporting a serious 5th Group beard with the chocolate chips and DCUs

 I admire his sense of adventure and dedication to his friends, but Im not exactly sure if he is a John Walker Lindh  or a Hemingway. Its a great story though and he looks like he rolled out of MoH

 @ArcticWarrior  @BrandonWebb That is kind of what I was thinking.  He has to have some sort of financial backer to move all over like he does- he’s doing illegal border runs b/w Syria & Turkey today.

When L&R asked, I remembered reading that interview, a few weeks ago.  So I linked it.  But I'm not endorsing or dismissing it.  Just goes into the pile, one more view to consider. 

I can see good arguments for & against either option.  So I'm staying skeptical, and refusing to speculate. 

...and I really don't want to see this turn into another out-of-control, impossible-to-keep-up-with, 500+ post thread about Benghazi.

 @JackMurphyRGR Wow.  I find his whole story absolutely fascinating.  You make it sound like his illegal border run is as routine as my Friday evening border run to Taco Bell.
