SOFREP’s Greatest Hits #8: Exposed: SupportTheSEALs.org Not a Charity or Business

In October of this year we helped expose the fact that a group was taking donations under the guise of a charity…then a business. The fact was that SupportTheSEALs.org was neither a registered charitable organization or a business as the founder had falsely claimed to myself and others. The end result was that the site was shut down, largely because of the pressure we (and you) created.

There’s been a lot of publicity surrounding the secretive work of Navy SEALs over the years which has turned out to be a double-edged sword. It has certainly helped the Navy in its recruitment efforts but unfortunately it has become a way for individuals who have never served a day in the military to profit from the blood and pain of those who do.

    @TKW406 Yeah, turns out SOFREP was waaaaay out front here. They do have a shirt with that quote. Only problem is that they quote "Anonymous"... it should be "Drago".
