There are so many good things to read/listen to on SOFREP and can't do 'em all but I'm hoping to make time for this one.  I accidentally happened to catch Kyle on Bill O'Reilly last year and loved his story about dealin with Jesse's comments about folks in Iraq.  In fact, I took out a glass, poured some wine in it and made a toast to the two images on tv right then and there, which I've never ever done.  I was THAT moved by the interview.

Hey Scott, I punched cows at the 06 ranch and CF ranch just north of Alpine about 4 year's. Best bar was the Crystal and Reata. I love that part of TX.

Re: Kyle's book, wasn't someone preparing to write a book about him so it nudged him into doing it himself? That's cool about Cooper wanting to do the movie though he and Kyle look nothing alike, but I've seen amazing transformations before. Don't get me started on Marky Mark as Marcus though. Don't get me wrong, I like Wahlberg as an actor, but as Marcus? Really? Ha ha. 

 

I don't know anything about Jake, but he seems like a character. :)

 

I'd love to get Webb's full review of Zero Dark Thirty. I imagine it would be full of LOLz.

If you haven't read American Sniper, or The Red Circle for that matter, you are really missing out. I'm not much of a reader but couldn't put either of these down.

 Dick Couch does a great job with the non-fiction books. I have Sua Sponte, but haven't had a chance to get to it yet. I liked his SEAL books.

Really enjoyed Scott McEwen talking about American Sniper. Reading it was a lot like sitting around a bar and listening to Chris tell stories. Jake and that infectious laugh were a kick. Hope to see him around here more.
