SOFREP: A morale patch for CCTs and TACPs
It may not be terribly original, after however many scores of different morale patches and at least a few dozen “Major League Whatever” patches, but I got this as part of the signature block of a buddy of mine over in the ‘Stan, so I thought I’d pass it along. Definitely fitting for the guys who bring in the big stuff and the gun runs.
CAS, for those of you who’ve been living under a rock or haven’t ever had the distinct pleasure of watching F-15s obliterate a bothersome Taliban crew with too many RPGs and not enough sense to leave you alone, is Close Air Support.
There were three kinds a few years back (according to Joint Pub 3-09.3). There may be newer guidance of course.
