And The Throat Punch Goes To…Karzai

I've read "The Only Thing Worth Dying For," and it seems that after all our SF did for him and the relationships they built together, that Karzai would be supporting our SOF operations in the region.  What has strained our relationship with him now so much to the point where we have to send him tens of millions in "ghost money" just to stay within his inner circle?

well spoken my friend. I have been saying he has played both ends against the middle for too long. A lot of blood lost so he can settle some old scores? and come out king of the heap?. 

It's gotta be a thankless job in a hostile environment. Much more so than in the U.S. I'm sure?  I'm just about through reading the book "the only thing worth dying for" about how ODA 574 went in to help Karzia as he was pretty much the only option we had after 9/11 in southern Afghanistan.  Now, Lieutenant colonel Jason Amerine and the other three letter agency personell seemed to think he was a pretty good guy for the job at the time.  Though, that was 12yrs ago before he entered into his current position.  I'm sure he's seen lots, and had to deal with a ton of B.S. from our government as well as others.  I don't condone what he said, throwing us under the bus ain't cool, but there may be reason's he's said such things, to keep peace and more violence from happening?  Who know's?  Maybe instead of a throat punch.....I suggest, a CK Choke out!  LOL  A little less scaring...:)

but not only am i disgusted with Karzai, Im even more disgusted that our governemnt and current administration is letting accusations like this be made and not showing any consequence

we are letting more and more foriegn countries say and do things to us and not respond at all or apologize

I say we stop getting pushed around by these other countries

whether in this case it would be appropriate to respond strongly diplomatically (with words)

or with events like benghazi and responding with a 180 grain bullet or 2000lbs JDAM

our government needs to strart responding better to things like this, become more agressive and not allow us to be pushed around by smaller and more insignificant countries/groups/governments
