Canadian Special Operations Regiment Places 3rd in CT Competition

Members of the special operations regiment from Petawawa have placed third in an international competition that tests the counter-terrorism skills of law enforcement and military units.

Two teams from China, the Snow Leopard Commando unit and a group from China’s police academy, took the top two slots, according to a statement from Jordan’s military.

  • hunden007 The unit proudly traces its roots to the, the fabled Canadian-American Special Forces unit that was stood-up in 1942 and earned the “Black Devils” moniker for daring night raids on Nazi forces at the Anzio beachhead. CSOR proudly carries the Black Devils’ battle honours, and the Devils’ spirit lives on at CSOR.

    docwally Like how our guys run a 5k or negotiate an obstacle course?  I don't think its an issue.  We send guys to this competitions to build rapport.

    Robertkyle  I loved the original Red Dawn.  Hollywood always tries to duplicate the original excellent movies and TV programs.  Look what they did with the "A Team".  What a horrible movie!!!
