Hello, I'm a Navy SEAL..... 's nephew. (I listened to Don Shipley with great interest. I despise the posers, too.) I just discovered SOFREP, and I love it. My uncle was a member of UDT and SEAL 1, 2 and 6 (plank holder). Thank you guys for your service, reports and education.

we had gangs on the CVN 74, but it was mostly just RX Department dealing E. nothing violent enough to require a seal team intervention
Strange situation. How far do you take it? Shoot someone. Crush their head with a 15 lb. dumbell? Break arms? Seems totally unprofessional.
I really wish Chris Kyle actually answered that question of what happened with the gang after the doors were locked. This video just repeats exactly what the book already said. Did they actually get into a fight with the "gang" members or was it just some yelling? Because I, just as the moderator said, am really interested in what events actually took place. It's not like any legal actually could even be legitimately taken this far after the events.
i think chris did answere the question. he was implicating that they locked the door and kicked the gangsters ass. then they left. the gang was bullying a sailor and gave him a black eye. in return, the captain asked the SEALs to beat them up. no, this whole incident was illegal. A sailor cant assault another sailor especial if a officer knew about it. however, fights between service men is often overlooked since most veterans follow the rule "stop being a wimp and man the fuck up"
@marbito11 Yeah, an ass kicking was definitely implied, but still, he really didn't say that he did. Where was it said that a sailor was beaten up and left with a black eye? But either way, I'm greatful for all the free video and radio content provided by this site :)
@marbito11 Really? Wierd, I have the book and don't see that black eye part of the story.
