Yes, I heard that part. . . . .But I also heard both Chris' say it is considered a "sin." Why? Do you suppose it is because if they come home in a body bag, they will not be leaving a widow behind? Is that it?
I know you all are probably very busy, but I have 2 questions:
1) why is it considered a "sin" if you get married, and why do your platoon members haze you like crazy if you do?
And one question regarding SEAL philosophy:
2) Is it once a SEAL always a SEAL? I mean, if there was another 9/11 scale attack on the U.S. tomorrow, would you go back in if you were retired? Your thoughts?
@bandrieu Can tell you the "sin" wasn't getting married. The "sin" was lying to the boys about it.

Like I said HBO has Hard Knocks about the NFL summer camp and Hockey and Boxing 24/7.All decent shows but put you're think caps on and picture Inside the TEAM ROOM on HBO..IT FRICKIN ROCKS. The only thing is I would feel sorry for whoever is the director as he would most likely experience Hazing up close and personal.I mean the first time he yells "cut "' he is all done. someone should send an episode to HBO
What's scary is they're all quiet and sneaky. And Chris K. is the size of a small building and can hide in plain sight. He alone should make most 3d world countries take pause.
Man oh Man I watch this and it somehow doesn't fit the faces of SEALS I have seen in books. No offense but you guys look in many cases like CHOIR BOYS . Then i read a book or watch something like this great show and I am just floored.I mean it is 24/7 365/per year hard core shit... this makes civilian life seem like pansy world..Well as tough guy Police Commander i know who was with me when we met some SEALS said when we left "THANK GOD THEY ARE ON OUR SIDE"
Thanks for the comments gents. Please spread and share these videos on YouTube as this will help us get the word out and keeps the series free to you! -BW
@BrandonWebb Dude, I laughed so I hard I nearly cried reading this account in Red Circle. My students (you know the story) came in about a week after they got the book and the looks on their faces was beyond priceless when I said "Don't Ever lie to me."

So Brandon, did the Marriage end up being worth the hazing? Or was it a sign, lol.
Someone superglued my jock at one point............ really thin layer so it wasnt that noticable. Three hours later and after solvent that burned like hell and shouldn't have been near my genitals and the kid got a ass beating. Ive never been the same, but neither has he.... damn he is one ugly bastard.
This series is great! I could listen to your stories for hours! This should be a weekly show on cable!
@Markndfan We agree! Spread the word via share on YouTube. It will help me pitch the series!
I love this series and look forward to it very much each week. It would be nice if the run time was longer, waiting a week for a 4:00 minute is a little nuts but at least I have a job to keep me occupied in between! Anyway, it's my hope that when the series goes to a paid format that the clips will be augmented either by extending the session or throwing in other things like a Loadout Room-style segment. Food for thought...
I can only imagine how much your teammates were laughing inside knowing that you were lying through your teeth about being married.
These are awesome and I would be so pumped if they came out more than once a week.
Hehe - The Kangaroo Court! Well said men - very good couple of episodes. Humility.....
Just love Navy cross training, first time I helped out our HM's pull blood I split a dude's vein, fuckin' hit the ceiling. Then I had to try his other arm, guy just sat there and took it. Good times, MEK works to remove the Ordie tape residue, don't ask me how I know. MEK will take the paint off your car so only use it on human skin, preferably the most tender parts.
"I think we took the spring out... alcohol and guns don't mix " quote of the week
As a Shipyard Competent Person(read: not a person with any medical background), I would advise using MEK on your bare skin only if absolutely necessary and only if removed immediately. If MEK is allowed to absorb into the skin it will make its way to your cardiovascular and make you wish that you had left that shit well enough alone. Full disclosure: I have used it for the same reasons as listed above and also got ill enough to visit the ER(only once, the first time). Lessons learned the hard way I guess.
