Please try not to use the words "Gun Nut" in your descriptions or discussions of the Loadout. I'm sick of hearing it and to me it denotes a clueless civilian and his even more clueless followers! You can be a gun lover, a gun officinato and just about anything in between; however, the slang definition for a "Nut" in the American Heritage Dictionary is; an eccentric, fanciful or deranged person. @Old PH2 Or for the budget minded E-3 with an upcoming deplyment.
@Riceball @Old PH2 I think they're going to name the new wing of Cheaperthandirt after me. I can't afford a macmillain stock for my M1A so I picked up a $200 "good enough" with nice adjustable cheekpad and shoulder pad. Of course I have to dremel out the trigger assembly insert a little, but It's "good enough."
PPSh 41 heaven...
Very cool, looking forward to see what all is featured. I was a store manager at Barksdale AFB in 2010 and one of my departments was the gun counter. Loved it. Got to toy around with everything from .22 handguns to AR's to AK's to even the old Russian WWII long rifles (forget their names). My favorite gun counter past time was, while giving one of my employees their 30 minute breaking, breaking out the Ruger SR-556 (fell in love with this weapon, can't wait to actually shoot one), slapping on the matte black EOTech, flashlight, and anything else I could find just for the fun of it and chopping it up with some of the SF and local police guys. Good times.
