SOFREP TV’s Big Mountain Heroes documentary was successfully funded via Kickstarter earlier this year and the trailer is now available. The team has been working hard on the full-length film as well and has a target date for launch of fall 2017.
Big Mountain Heroes follows the journey and experiences of five Special Operations veterans on a one-of- a-kind trip to Chamonix, France. The goal is to bring additional awareness to veteran assistance programs and to show ways veterans are living their life after military service.
Viewers will be drawn in to this moving documentary. They’ll get to know each person intimately and hear their stories as if they were in the room or on the mountain. This personal perspective will be complimented by some truly spectacular skiing and snowboarding footage.
These men have gone big their entire lives, and they don’t hold back in the Alps. This film boasts plenty of action in the deep powder and big air and quick descents are a common theme.
“Watching this all come together has been special,” said SOFREP TV co-founder, CEO and Ex- Navy SEAL Brandon Webb. “The journey has been great. From the time we put the idea on the table to today—so many things have happened. The dedicated work of the team is exceptional.
Just planning the trip was an undertaking—but setting us up to get great footage and putting together such a compelling story really will really help showcase this project. It’s for such an important cause and the support from our fans and the community has been flattering. We are excited to release this trailer, but can’t wait to debut the finished piece.”
With the launch coming in the next few months, backers of the project are also set to receive their limited-edition items on time. More information and details on the entire project are available on the Big Mountain Heroes Kickstarter page. SOFREP TV subscribers get access to all new releases—as well as the vault of past interviews, episodes, documentaries, news stories and features. New subscribers can take advantage of a limited-time offer of $4.99 a month or $49.99 per year.
