A woman was killed and 10 others were wounded when two separate bombs detonated in Hua Hin, Thailand. BBC reported the woman killed was identified as a local food vendor. The area is frequented by tourists and many of the casualties are believed to be tourists (no official release of the nationalities yet). The bombs were reported to be hidden in flower pots approximately 50 meters apart from one another and witnesses stated that they were detonated 30 minutes apart. Images from the scene show phone fragments which could have been used to detonate the devices. No one has claimed the double bombings yet but it could be related to the recent referendum and separatist groups.
A third bombing injuring six people occurred on the same day at a market in Thap Thiang, Thailand. Authorities state the incident was most likely from a local dispute and not terrorism.
