Terrorist Strike in Jakarta, Indonesia

On Thursday morning (Jan 14th, 2016) there were a number of explosions and some gunfire in the Jakarta – the capital of Indonesia. There were numerous perpetrators of the attack which the Indonesian government has described as a terrorist attack. At least seven people were killed with many more wounded. Some press reports say that the Islamic State has claimed credit for the attack.
