Multiple people shot at a UPS building in San Francisco

San Francisco, California– Initial reports indicate that at least three people have been shot at a UPS building early Wednesday morning. Local news reported the shooter may have been an employee or former employee of UPS. Earlier it was thought that the shooter was in police custody, however, ABC 7 stated the suspect turned the gun on himself.

A source says this was a single shooter who went into the building during a morning meeting and the suspect may be a disgruntled employee. The source says the suspected shooter turned the gun on himself after shooting three people.- ABC7

UPS released this statement following the incident.

UPS confirms there was an incident involving employees within the company’s facility in San Francisco earlier this morning. Local law enforcement have control of the facility and are conducting an investigation. The company is cooperating with law enforcement. We cannot provide information as to the identity of persons involved at this time, pending the police investigation.

Details on the victims or the shooter are unknown at this time. More to follow as this story continues to develop.


Update: Four people have reportedly been killed in the incident to include the gunman.
