Watch: Islamic Scholar says ‘killing homosexuals is the compassionate thing to do’

Watch as a Sheikh Farrokh Sekaleshfar, an Islamic scholar, states that a death sentence is the compassionate thing to do for homosexuals. According to the sheikh, killing homosexuals will be the only way they could obtain forgiveness from God. He was invited to speak at the Husseini Islamic Center Mosque in Sanford, FL on homosexuality and women’s issues this past April, only a couple of months before today’s deadly terrorist attack on a gay nightclub.

Prior to killing at least 50 people at the club, Omar Mateen called 911 and pledged his allegiance to ISIS. It is unknown at this time if Omar Mateen attended the event at the Husseini Islamic Center Mosque.

The second video below is from 2013 speaking engagement at the University of Michigan in Dearborn.
