What Joseph Stalin, President Biden and the Liberal Press Have in Common

“A single death is a tragedy, a million deaths are a statistic” – Joseph Stalin

The liberal mainstream media outrage at Biden visiting Saudi Arabia boldly underscores how much the liberal press opts out of American war statistics when it’s convenient for their narrative and self-preservation.

I’m specifically addressing the news drama surrounding the lack of accountability the Saudi Crown Prince has had in the death of Washington Post contributor Khashoggi (59), who was brutally assassinated by his government, according to US intelligence reports.

I’m specifically addressing the news drama surrounding the lack of accountability the Saudi Crown Prince has had in the death of Washington Post contributor Khashoggi (59), who was brutally assassinated by his government, according to US intelligence reports.

Khashoggi, an outspoken critic of the Saudi regime, was last seen entering the Saudi Arabian embassy in Istanbul on October 2, 2018 and is rumored to have been chopped to pieces and disposed of like in an episode of Ozark.

Read more on his assassination here.

So why are American liberal news outlets so outraged when by the killing of a 59-year-old rogue Saudi citizen refugee in the US,  who primarily lived a life of privilege? And not so much when America has killed dozens, maybe hundreds, of small children in Afghanistan, Africa, and Iraq and written it off as acceptable collateral damage?

Where was the full court press coverage when the Obama-Biden administration ordered the assassination of a teenage American boy visiting his family in Yemen? Who was only guilt was being born the son of a radical American Islamist named Anwar Al-Awlaki?

With a straight face, how can Biden confront the Saudi Prince on Khashoggi when America has a long list of innocent people killed and more held without due process in Cuba and other CIA black sites?

The hypocrisy is real and also a main issue Putin has brought up many times and why he was so emboldened to invade Ukraine.

The US has no morale high ground to stand on, zero.

I say this as someone who loves America. But, I fought for a better America than this. I’ve witnessed decades of foreign policy gone wild and a majority of politicians on both sides of party lines that only care about self preservation.

The editors of this site and I were personally threatened by government agencies on the eve of publishing our own Benghazi, the Definitive Report.

The Obama administration killed a sixteen-year-old American citizen with no due process of law.

He was the son of Anwar al-Awlaki, who was also born in America, an American citizen, and was killed by drone two weeks before his son was, along with another American citizen named Samir Khan. Of course, both Anwar al-Awlaki and Samir Khan were, at the very least, traitors to their country — they had both gone to Yemen and taken up with Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula. Moreover, al-awlaki had proven himself an expert inciter of those with murderous designs against America and Americans: the rare man of words who could be said to have a body count. When he was killed, on September 30, 2011, President Obama made a speech about it; a few months later, when the Obama administraton’s public-relations campaign about its embrace of what has come to be called “targeted killing” reached its climax in a front-page story in the New York Times that presented the President of the United States as the last word in deciding who lives and who dies, he was quoted as saying that the decision to put Anwar al-Awlaki on the kill list — and then to kill him — was “an easy one.” But Abdulrahman al-Awlaki wasn’t on an American kill list.

Nor was he a member of Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninusla. Nor was he “an inspiration,” as his father styled himself, for those determined to draw American blood; nor had he gone “operational,” as American authorities said his father had, in drawing up plots against Americans and American interests. He was a boy who hadn’t seen his father in two years, since his father had gone into hiding. He was a boy who knew his father was on an American kill list and who snuck out of his family’s home in the early morning hours of September 4, 2011, to try to find him. He was a boy who was still searching for his father when his father was killed, and who, on the night he himself was killed, was saying goodbye to the second cousin with whom he’d lived while on his search, and the friends he’d made. He was a boy among boys, then; a boy among boys eating dinner by an open fire along the side of a road when an American drone came out of the sky and fired the missiles that killed them all.

Again, note that this kid wasn’t killed in the same drone strike as his father. He was hit by a drone strike elsewhere, and by the time he was killed, his father had already been dead for two weeks.

How does Team Obama justify killing him? –The Atlantic

More on the killing here.

“Americans who are perceived as potential trouble makers  are more at danger of being killed abroad by US intelligence than at home where American laws apply more aggressively.” -JSOC intelligence source said to SOFREP staff.

Twenty years of war in Afghanistan, trillions of taxpayer money flushed down the drain, the Taliban more armed (thanks to Biden’s administration) than ever before, and ZERO accountability at all levels of government, including the US military?

Is this the type of America we want to live in? Is this the type of America, the rest of the world can look up to?

Does this help America’s cause to reduce radicalism in the World or just pour more gas on the fire of extremism?

Is the free press focusing on core news issues that will hold elected officials accountable, or do they serve their interests only?

I think not, but I do believe we can and need to do better.

As America approaches the cliff’s edge of another tumultuous Presidential election when need to think about ways to empower the citizens of this country to take back control of our government and clean up the mess politicians on both sides have made.
