I wanted to give you guys a quick look at the Emerson Knives Aftershock. Emerson Knives has just recently restocked this knife, so if you’ve had your eye out for an Aftershock, now is the time to get your hands on it.

The Aftershock is your typical Emerson quality folder with outstanding ergonomics that latch onto your hand when you hold it. The blade profile is nothing crazy; it’s a simple design proven to work time and time again. The G10 handle scales came pretty aggressive. All I did to remedy that was to remove the clip (temporarily) and make a few passes with high grit sandpaper to dial it back a bit; now it’s damn near perfect.

Production Description

Here at Emerson Knives we live in earthquake country. Earthquakes are an intense and frightening experience that you cannot predict and never see coming. But the most frightening aspect of an earthquake event is the Aftershock, because now you know it’s coming and there’s nothing you can do to stop it.

The Emerson Aftershock features a Bowie style blade and our signature “Emerson Ergonomics”. This knife is an all around performer designed and built to do any job you may encounter. Like all Emerson Knives, the Aftershock is steady, ready and good to go wherever your path may lead.” – Ernest Emerson
