As eager knife enthusiasts waited for the doors to open on Blade Show 2017, two of the biggest mysteries were Benchmade and KAI-USA. Would either company bring any production surprises to this custom knife show?
Benchmade
Last year at Blade Show, Benchmade had jaws dropping with a limited edition, carbon fiber Contego and a giant M4 chopper. This year, though Benchmade had its full array of SHOT Show products on display, no new additions were debuted.
Kershaw / Zero Tolerance (KAI-USA)
The legal furor surrounding the Natrix left some wondering what the fate of Kershaw’s budget folder might be. A glimpse behind KAI’s cabinet revealed the answer. On display are five new flavors of the Natrix. It looks like the company isn’t backing away from a release date anytime soon.
