New Looks and Savings at Daniel Defense
Breach-Bang-Clear News Team
Daniel Defense has a new look in their inventory this month. Some DD rifles will now be offered with an earthy green Cerakote finish. This couples the durability offered by Cerakote, and the camouflaging effect of green.
For those of you who don’t already know what Cerakote is or does, listen up an we’ll learn ya. Cerakote is a thin film ceramic coating made with advanced resin technology. That means improved hardness, abrasion resistance, and lubricity (mind out the gutter, guys – we’re talking rifles.) According to Cerakote HQ, other noted benefits of the coating include improved corrosion, impact, and chemical resistance.
Says Marty Daniels, DD President and CEO,
“We are excited to be working with Cerakote to release Daniel Defense Deep Woods on several of our rifle models, We debuted the Deep Woods finish on our DDM4A1 rifle at the 2017 NRA show in Atlanta, Georgia, this past spring. The response was very positive not only to the Deep Woods color but also to the look and feel of the Cerakote finish.”
You can find the inventory of Daniel Defense Cerakote coated rifles here on the Daniel Defense website. The green coating is available on models DDM4V7, DDM4V11, DDM4A1, and DD5V1 (M-LOK & KEYMOD).
