We’re big fans of SB Tactical around here. We’re also big fans of the CZ 805 Bren S1. So it was only natural that SB Tactical would read our minds and release the SBT805, a pistol brace designed exclusively for that PDW pistol.

Developed in partnership with Manticore Arms, SB Tactical’s SBT805 is an integral, side-folding brace, giving the end user all the advantages of the CZ 805 Bren S1 pistol while simultaneously boosting control by offering a third point of contact. It’s ATF-compliant, U.S. veteran-designed, and comes assembled and ready to install. In the press release, SB Tactical is careful to point out that installation of the SBT805 doesn’t change the CZ 805 Bren S1’s pistol classification.

Introduced last year, the CZ 805 Bren S1 pistol is chambered in .223/5.56×45 and sports an 11-inch old hammer forged barrel with a two-port muzzle brake. Also included is a 1/2×28 muzzle threading; aluminum frame; top and bottom Picatinny rails for optics and lights; and polymer grips. It accepts AR15/M16 STANAG magazines and has an overall length and width of 22.75 inches and 6.7 pounds, respectively. The MSRP is $1,799.

“The CZ 805 Bren S1 Pistol is a popular PDW pistol, and our customers have been asking for a high-quality, folding brace from SB Tactical,” SB Tactical founder and CEO Alex Bosco said. “The installation of an SBT805 enhances usability and enables the CZ 805 Bren S1 Pistol to remain compact for ease of transport, storage, and concealability.”

Weighing in at 15.1 ounces and with an overall length of 10.2 inches, the SBT805 is offered in both black and flat dark earth. The price is $249.99.
