Dershowitz would later play a significant role in negotiating the NPA on Epstein’s behalf. Indeed, Dershowitz helped negotiate an agreement that provided immunity from federal prosecution in the Southern District of Florida not only to Epstein, but also to ‘any potential co-conspirators of Epstein.’ NPA at 5. Thus, Dershowitz helped negotiate an agreement with a provision that provided protection for himself against criminal prosecution in Florida for sexually abusing Jane Doe #3. Because this broad immunity would have been controversial if disclosed, Dershowitz (along with other members of Epstein’s defense team) and the Government tried to keep the immunity provision secret from all of Epstein’s victims and the general public, even though such secrecy violated the Crime Victims’ Rights Act.”
It should be noted that Virginia is not the only Jane Doe noted in the legal documents, but just one of five making allegations against Epstein.
Virginia also claims that Epstein was gifted several 12-year-old girls for his birthday. “Jeffrey bragged after he met them that they were 12-year-olds flown over from France because they’re really poor over there, and their parents needed the money or whatever the case is and they were absolutely free to stay and flew out.”
Also assisting in Epstein’s network was Jean Luc Brunel, the owner and operator of a model scouting agency called MC2. Brunel has come under fire in the past for being a creep who sexually abused young girls at his modeling agency. Michael Gross’ book “Model” describes his past activities:
“Jean-Luc is considered a danger,” says Jérôme Bonnouvrier. “Owning Karins was a dream for a playboy. His problem is that he knows exactly what girls in trouble are looking for. He’s always been on the edge of the system. John Casablancas gets with girls the healthy way. Girls would be with him if he was the butcher. They’re with Jean-Luc because he’s the boss. Jean-Luc likes drugs and silent rape. It excites him.”
60 Minutes did a piece on Brunel in which numerous former models at his agency claimed that he molested them. Brunel seems to have a specialty in “discovering” 14-year-old models.
Epstein and his clique of pedophiles also flew the underaged girls to his private island for orgies. Little St. James Island is off the coast of St. Thomas in the Caribbean, where Epstein maintains a residence and guest houses. Flight manifests have recently surfaced demonstrating that the girls were in fact flown to the island on his private jet, sometimes listed by name and other times simply listed as “female” passengers.
Virginia has charged that Epstein pimped her out to prominent individuals including a prime minister and a world-renowned scientist. Former President Bill Clinton and several scientists were present for parties on Epstein’s island. However, Virginia has gone on the record to clarify that she never had sex with Bill Clinton or witnessed him having sexual relations with anyone else.
Disturbingly, Epstein, who bills himself as a philanthropist, has sponsored a number of youth initiatives in the Virgin Islands, as well as charter schools, a junior tennis league, a high school French club, and other programs in America involving children, all of which would help provide access to minors for Epstein—a registered sex offender.
Industrial-scale Blackmail
Epstein’s pedo-network wasn’t simply for sexual services, though; it also had certain fringe benefits, such as acquiring leverage over the high-powered men who also liked to rape teenage girls. Palm Beach police are said to have recovered photographs at his residence and discovered that the property was wired with cameras. Virginia Roberts believes that the FBI has recovered video tapes of Epstein and his friends having sex with underaged girls.
Epstein also trafficked Jane Doe #3 for sexual purposes to many other powerful men, including numerous prominent American politicians, powerful business executives, foreign presidents, a well-known Prime Minister, and other world leaders. Epstein required Jane Doe #3 to describe the events that she had with these men so that he could potentially blackmail them.” (page 6, legal doc)
Epstein not only protected himself from legal repercussions down the road by recording powerful politicians in compromising positions, but perhaps was even able to coerce his own lawyer and who knows who else with such videotapes.
“Epstein also sexually trafficked the then-minor Jane Doe, making her available for sex to politically-connected and financially-powerful people. Epstein’s purposes in ‘lending’ Jane Doe (along with other young girls) to such powerful people were to ingratiate himself with them for business, personal, political, and financial gain, as well as to obtain potential blackmail information.” (page 4, legal doc)
As sick as Epstein’s pedophile network is, the importance of blackmail material derived from these activities should not be ignored. Any intelligence service in the world would love to run such a honey pot trap against powerful American and British nationals. The amount of leverage this creates cannot be understated.
Elite Deviancy
Rarely covered in political science circles, elite deviancy plays a hidden role in the world’s power structures. Perhaps it is premature to put so much weight on the Epstein network, however this is far from the first such scandal that has ensnared the power elite.
In the 1980s, the so-called Franklin Cover-up involved prominent Republicans in Nebraska. The investigation centered around Lawrence King, who operated the Franklin Community Federal Credit Union. That investigation stalled when allegations arose that foster children were being flown to Washington D.C. for sex parties.
In Holland, the Dutroix Affair exposed a particularly sadistic ring of pedophiles. Their pimp was Marc Dutriox. “Two of his alleged victims—Melissa Russo and Julie Lejeune, both eight—were sexually abused and tortured in makeshift dungeons in metal cages in his basement.”
The police investigation into Marc Dutriox can politely be described as incompetent. Perhaps complicit is the better term to use here. “Unbelievably, police also searched his house when Julie and Melissa were cowering in cages in his basement but failed to find them. They heard screaming but chose to believe Dutroux, who told them it must have been children playing outside.”
Witnesses suddenly committed suicide in this bizarre case, one in which Dutriox is suspected to have pimped prepubescent girls to policemen and politicians alike. The prosecution was stalled and nothing really came of any of it.
Britain had the Jersey Island scandal. The Haut de la Garenne orphanage on Jersey Island was used as a stock of children for pedophiles to pick and choose from, and a police investigation led to the conviction of several members of the staff. Media personality Jimmy Savile was implicated by the press during the course of the investigation, an accusation he tried to sue The Sun newspaper over.
While there had been claims that he was a pedophile dating back to the ’60s, it wasn’t until after his death that hundreds of people came forward to charge him with sexual abuse. Some of them were from the orphanage in Jersey Island.
What really defies any kind of reason is not that these crimes happened, but rather that so many people knew about them for so long without the abuse coming to national attention and law enforcement making arrests much earlier on. This implies that the legal and law-enforcement system itself is fundamentally flawed, or that politicians, prosecutors, and law enforcement are corrupt or complicit in said crimes.
When you look at people like Jeffrey Epstein, Jimmy Sevile, or Jerry Sandusky, the number of their victims is staggering, as is the number of witnesses who kept their mouths shut for so long. Why is it that these scandals erupt from time to time, implicate extremely powerful people, and then they just fade away?
Is it because all of the witnesses and victims are lying? Or rather, is it because these scandals are used as leverage by one political faction against another? We can only speculate as to what kind of subterfuge could be at play, but it is fair to say that Hillary Clinton must have serious concerns as to any videotapes that Epstein may have in his possession, sold to a third party, or has had confiscated as evidence by the FBI. Revelations such as this during the presidential primaries would torpedo her political ambitions.
For instance, a “whistle-blower” recently leaked files to The Guardian after they left their job at the Hong Kong-Shanghai Banking Corporation. It turns out that Jeffrey Epstein also donated 25,000 dollars to the Clinton’s charitable foundation. The lines between politics, information warfare, information weapons, and blackmail have never been less clear.
Do these scandals fade away because they are false, because the blackmail has been completed, or is it because some people and some institutions are just so powerful that they really are too big to fail? It is unlikely we will ever know, because like Jersey Island, the Franklin Cover-Up, and the Dutroix Affair, witnesses will be silenced, protection will be bought, investigations will be botched, and the entire episode will simply fade into the dark.
