From The Cockpit: Another Raptor B-Course Graduates!

Happy F-22sDay, FighterSweep Fans! What would a Tuesday be without a little Raptor awesomeness? We can’t speak for the rest of you, by the F-22 is definitely a favorite of ours, and this gives you a pretty rare peek inside the life of students learning how to tame the beast.

This video comes from the fine young men of Class 15-ABR at Tyndall Air Force Base, located in the Florida panhandle. The Raptor B-Course, taught by the instructor pilots in the 43rd Fighter Squadron, is approximately eight months in length and takes students fresh out of UPT and turns them into qualified F-22 pilots.

The inspiration for and overall theme comes from Jurassic Park and the deadly VelociRAPTOR. As a side note, coincidentally the class finished up the course on the same day that the new Jurassic World movie came out. Timing is everything right??
