C-17 Globemaster IIIs deploy flares Dec. 6, 2014, while flying over the Nevada Test and Training Range during the U.S. Air Force Weapons School’s Joint Forcible Entry Exercise 14B. When weapons school students graduate as weapons officers, they will go back to their units and share that knowledge and their experiences from JFEX, to better prepare the Air Force operate in any contingency.
