Exclusive: New Indie TV Channel Launched, “The Spec Ops Channel” on SpecialOperations.com

In case you didn’t notice, SOFREP co-founder Jack Murphy has taken the helm as the new Editor-in-Chief of SOFREP.com. Pete Nealen is now the Managing Editor of the website.

This has let me focus on building the business side of Force12 Media, and bring in more partners on the network. Two recent editions are the Duffle Blog and Blackside Concepts’ Havok Journal. This has also allowed the space and time to create our own Indie TV channel via the Internet, The Spec Ops Channel.

Having our own TV channel lets the guys and I create our own content, avoid (what Charlie calls) non-essential personnel,  and control the entire creative process from beginning to end. We also plan on partnering with other great veteran-run websites and companies to collaborate on joint TV and film projects.

This is something I’ve wanted to do for a long time, and why we have repeatedly turned down offers from Los Angeles-based production companies that pitch us a variety of show concepts.

Take a look at our new line up, new episodes of Inside The Team Room (ITTR) release every week starting November 26th, 2014. We’d love to hear your feedback and comments below.
