Marine Raider (MARSOC) photo gallery

Created in 2005, the United States Marines Corps Special Operations Command, commonly known as MARSOC, is part of the United States Special Operations Command (SOCOM). Although MARSOC is still pretty new within SOCOM, they have distinguished themselves by training Afghan soldiers on the front lines and by conducting successful operations with them.

Books such as “Level Zero Heroes” have been written recounting actions taken by MARSOC operators in Afghanistan.

On August 6, 2014, MARSOC was renamed the Marine Raiders after the fabled elite World War II unit.
