Zero Tolerance’s Best EDC To Date?

The Zero Tolerance 0900 is a collaboration between Zero Tolerance and Les George. Les George has been a custom knife maker and designer since 1992. In 1997 he enlisted in the Marine Corps to work within the Explosive Ordinance DisposalEOD – and served there for 10 years. After his honorable service, Les George went through machinist school courtesy of the GI Bill.  With his combined machinist training and service in the Marine Corps, he has a unique perspective on what should go into a blade and what actually works in the field. This is reflected in his design of the ZT 0900.

Style of Knife: This is a small yet stout EDC (everyday carry) knife – you could call it a stubby. The blade has a wide belly which assists in easier cutting for all your EDC tasks.

Blade Length: 2.7″ Long / Closed length is 3.9″ / Overall length is 6.6″

Type of Edge: Clip point design for precision cutting.

Blade and Handle Materials: The blade material is a stainless S35VN with a satin stone wash. Both the handle and frame lock are machined titanium. Both the stone washed blade and all titanium handle/lock give the blade an extremely durable finish and the look of a higher end custom knife.

Deep carry pocket clip

Application: Everyday carry for the prepared citizen, law enforcement and military.

Pros: Designed by a combat veteran and made in the USA.

Cons: Due to the nature of the titanium handle, it can get a little slippery in wet conditions or if your hands are really cold and you start to lose basic dexterity.

Bottom Line/Overall Performance: The ZT 0900 is a compact knife. The blade is shorter – under 3″ – making it very convenient to carry almost anywhere without violating local knife laws. This knife has an amazing solid an tight construction consistent with Zero Tolerance’s philosophy.
