Oren Hartov and his father — Steven Hartov — both served in the same battalion of the IDF’s 35th Paratrooper Brigade — though not at the same time. Hartov is an editor at Gear Patrol, and has contributed to Special Operations Report, K-9 Cop Magazine, SHIFTed Magazine, Worn & Wound and Robb Report.
