Army General Cleared of Wrongdoing, Allowed to Retire After Social Media Controversy

Major General Patrick Donahoe was involved in a controversy on social media after defending female soldiers in the military. An Inspector General investigation was launched and found that he had “failed to display Army values and core leader competencies,” leading to a delay in his retirement. However, he has now been cleared of any wrongdoing and was allowed to retire.
