The Aviation crew attached to the USCG CAMPBELL deployed their rescue swimmer out of the MH-65 Dolphin Helicopter off the coast of Greenland.

The Aviation crew attached to the US Coast Guard’s CAMPBELL deployed their rescue swimmer, AST3 Roberto Ochoa out of the MH-65 Dolphin Helicopter for hoist training harness deployment and recovery off the coast of Greenland.

AST3 Roberto Ochoa also stood ready to respond for the Man Overboard Drill held on board the CAMPBELL on September 3. The NSTT, Navigation Safety Training Team threw an “OSCAR” or dummy that is used for man overboard training. The crew responded immediately with locating the ‘missing’ crew member, from the Bridge Team to the Special Sea Detail ready with lines and hooks for rescue, everyone was involved in getting OSCAR out of the water as soon as possible.
