The Pic of the Day: Special Operations crews sharpen their mid-air refueling skills

Travis airmen fly training missions regularly to stay current and be prepared for future mobility operations. Mid-air refueling is a notoriously difficult operation, with a high level of danger for both the tanker and the recipient aircraft. Special Operations crews must be able to conduct such operations during nighttime, given the fact special operations are far more likely to take place under the cover of darkness.
