It’s a special Air Force PJ edition of SOFREP Radio. We do a pretty good job on our show generally representing all branches of service: Army, Navy, and Marines, as well as the CIA and FBI, but we definitely have been lacking in Air Force guests. So, it was nice to get these two warriors on, SOFREP writer BK guest-hosting (which has been long awaited by many fans of the show) and special guest Jimmy Settle. BK starts off the show giving his politically incorrect take on the world right now as you’d expect for those that read his weekly News Roundup, as well as talking his recent retirement from contracting.
I’ve met guys through this work who have lost limbs and continued to serve like Army Ranger Joe Kapacziewski, and even recent guest Ivan Castro who lost his eyesight and continued to serve, but how about this story? Air Force PJ Jimmy Settle was shot in the head, and powered on. He documents it all in his upcoming book, “Never Quit: From Alaskan Wilderness Rescues to Afghanistan Firefights as an Elite Special Ops PJ.” He gets into all of it this episode, and you do not want to miss this one.
