WANTED: Military Writers

We are looking to round out the SOFREP team with a few good men (and women) to write pro bono.  This could turn into a paying job, but for now we are chock full.

If you fit the description below, then please send us a comms check and put “Writer” and your branch of service in the topic box.

• Veteran with Iraq or Afghanistan combat experience (SOF experience or support a plus but not needed)
• Male or Female
• Army, USAF, & USMC preferred (preference given to wounded warriors)
• Enjoy writing and a good communicator
• Team player ( because none of us is as smart as all of us)
• Must have an honorable discharge and two military references (we will check references)
• Be able to pass a background check (yes, we check you out)
• Willing to take a polygraph (not a lifestyle poly–we don’t care if you inhaled in college) if necessary
• WordPress experience is a plus
• Self motivated
