Thom Richard aborted his takeoff for the final race in the Gold final for the Formula One Class in Reno at the National Championship Air Races. The engine broke on his plane Hot Stuff. But what happens next will scare even the most seasoned aviators. Thankfully, no one suffered major injuries.
