A small plane owned by Harrison Ford has crashed on a golf course near Venice, California. The pilot, described as the “single male occupant,” suffered cuts on his head is is reportedly in critical condition at a local hospital. The aircraft came down on Penmar Golf Course, in the vicinity of both Venice and the Santa Monica airport. Two doctors who were playing Golf at the time of the incident rushed to the scene and rendered aid to the pilot. Ford, 72 years old, is a longtime pilot in both fixed wing and rotary aircraft.
Shortly before 2:30 p.m., the aircraft crashed on the Penmar Golf Course in the 1200 block of Rose Avenue in Venice, said Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Erik Scott.
