Watch: Brig. Gen. Joseph Jacob “Joe” Foss Memorial Dedication

Marine Corps Air Station Miramar hosts a ceremony to rededicate the airfield, Oct. 21, in honor of Brig. Gen. Joseph Jacob “Joe” Foss. Foss was awarded the Medal of Honor for heroism as a Marine Captain during World War II while serving in Guadalcanal.

The Flying Leatherneck Aviation Museum will host the grand opening of the Foss exhibit, which will display his Medal of Honor for the first time.
