Homemade tanks and armored personnel carriers (APCs) are being used on all sides in Iraq and Syria, and most look like they’re straight out of the movie “Mad Max.” Scraps of metal from other vehicles and tanks are welded together to make one-of-a-kind junkyard tanks and armored personnel carriers.
