‘Motorbike’ bombing near Istanbul police station, at least 10 wounded

A bomb detonated near the police station in the Yenibosna neighborhood of Southwest Istanbul, Turkey. The governor stated that all 10 people that were wounded from the blast were civilians. This past year, several bombings have targeted the police and were carried out by the PKK. However, no one has claimed this bombing yet.

Governor Vasip Sahin said all of the wounded were civilians and that investigations into who might be responsible were ongoing. There were no immediate claims of responsibility on Thursday.”- Reuters

It is unclear at this time if the bomb detonated while on the motorbike or if a person placed the bomb before fleeing the scene. Fox News reported the police are looking for a person seen leaving the area on a motorcycle or motorbike.
