Hey folks,

Stavros here.

The past couple of months have been hectic, to say the least. But SOFREP is back and kicking! No better way to start than with some superb coverage of the Delta operation that killed al-Baghdadi. The Team had to dig deep with our extensive coverage, but it was all worth it for our millions of readers. Good times.

Good times.

The new SOFREP site and domain is buzzing with articles and comments. The Team Room, in particular, is becoming a hub where we can shoot the shit, talk about games, sports, books, politics, conspiracy theories, and UFOs (thanks, Alex, now the Feds are on to us…).

December is looking great content-wise. Geo once more dives into Delta’s selection and explains how to best prepare for the month-long suckfest in the beautiful mountains of West Virginia. He also takes us on the ground with Task Force Orange, AKA, the Intelligence Support Activity (ISA), one of the more secretive units in the military

Night Stalker Greg Coker, AH-6 Little Bird pilot with the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (Airborne), transports us back in time to the initial missions of the Global War on Terror. We fly with him as he paves the way for the Delta operators and Rangers who went after the al-Qaeda and Taliban leaders in Afghanistan—just a heads up, they did lots of killing.

Navy SEAL fans fear naught—we’ve got you covered. After months of painstaking research and dozens of interviews, I’ve finally finished the article about Operation RAW DEAL, the clandestine mission that saved SEAL Team 6 from disbandment. I’m also investigating whether the Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC) has been abusing its powers to avoid Congressional oversight.

Steve sits down with wounded warriors from past and current conflicts and describes their struggles, experiences with the VA, and path to mental and physical recovery.

And in a superb two-part article, fan-favorite Yankee Papa narrates the valiant stand of a few Aussies against thousands of North Vietnamese at the Battle of Long Tan, which has entered into the annals of the Australian military as one of the more one-sided and epic actions in the nation’s history.

Not to mention that Kyle Lamb, Delta Force pipehitter of Black Hawk Down fame and renowned gunslinger, will be sitting down for a SOFREP Radio podcast.

As far as the overall company goes, 2019 was interesting. We had to take a knee and sip some water at times. But in tough times, character shines. And with your unremittingly steadfast support, we’re once more growing. Be on the lookout for new additions to the Team as we continue to expand our editorial coverage.

Whether it’s in the comments section or Team Room chat, we are always open to feedback. Editor-in-Chief Nick Coffman and I value your opinion as we plan ahead.

On Time, on Target.
