Mike Pence said he will meet with the widow of one of the Americans who died in the Benghazi attacks later on Monday, as he slammed Hillary Clinton for her handling of the situation.
The GOP vice presidential nominee said at a rally in Charlotte that he would meet tonight at an event in North Carolina with Dorothy Woods, who was married to Tyrone Woods, a CIA contractor and former Navy SEAL who was killed in the 2012 attack in Libya that left four Americans dead, including Ambassador Chris Stevens.
It was not immediately clear whether the two would make a joint public appearance. Pence officials were not available for clarification.

Clinton was referring to questions about the Obama administration’s messaging about the attack in its immediate aftermath, but the statement has been widely criticized — including by Pence on Monday.
