Stay Tooned: Russian trolls expertly manipulate the citizens of the United States

The Russians understand they don’t have to fight us conventionally or even unconventionally at this point. They are perfectly content to watch us tear ourselves apart while they sit back and instigate as they eat popcorn. Many of the memes being shared by both democrats and republicans in the United States can be attributed to Russian trolls who seek to destabilize the United States. Rather than sharing cheap memes and false narratives about our political or social beliefs, we should be engaging our fellow Americans in meaningful discussions. It’s definitely OK to disagree with someone and not hate them or shove hateful memes down their throats. We need to talk more and appeal to the human side rather than thinking of our political opposition as mindless cogs. Infighting is exactly what Russia wants because a nation divided can easily be conquered and manipulated.
