Msgt Raimondo rallied fellow Airmen, local civilians, and acquired a large blanket. The group then expanded the blanket and operated as a team to catch those forced to leap from the fourth floor of a burning building. Msgt Raimondo is also attributed with providing aid to the mothers and their children while awaiting for local emergency services to arrive.
