82nd Airborne Prepares to Say Goodbye to the OH-58D Kiowa Warrior

The 1st Squadron, 17th Cavalry Regiment, 82nd Combat Aviation Brigade, 82nd Airborne Division, will conduct their final training flight from Simmons Army Airfield with their OH-58D Kiowa Warriors April 15. The flight will also serve as a final “thank you” and farewell‬ to the residents of the Fort Bragg and the Fayetteville community.

To view the final flyover, spectators on Fort Bragg, N.C. should be at Pike Field around 10 a.m. Those in the Fayetteville community are invited to see the flyover at the Airborne & Special Operations Museum Foundation around 10:30 a.m.
