Homecoming…

I got into poetry a few years ago when my New York business group brought in a spoken poet to talk to us and teach a poetry clinic. When I started my first poem based on the exercises we had done prior I surprised myself at how dark I went.

I definitely have some compartmentalized issues and poetry (and writing books) has been a great therapeutic outlet for me.
