Drone strikes deep inside Russia have become more and more common events.  Maybe it is a way of showing the world that the Russian umbrella of “invincibility” is a bit old and moth-eaten, with a hole every here and there.

Attacks deep inside Putin’s homeland have recently targeted oil refineries, oil pipelines, and even the Kremlin itself.

Granted, these attacks have been more symbolic than destructive, but still, they show the world that if an organization wants to, they would wreak havoc in the heart of Mother Russia.
