Former astronaut William Anders salutes the urn containing the ashes of former astronaut Alan Bean, Thursday, Nov. 8, 2018 at Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia. Selected as an astronaut in 1963, Bean flew in space twice — becoming the fourth human to walk on the Moon, on Nov. 19, 1969. He spent 59 days in space as commander of the second Skylab mission in 1973.
