The Security Service of Ukraine, or SBU, is kind of like the United States CIA and FBI all rolled up into one. They combat organized crime, safeguard national security, protect state secrets, and conduct intelligence operations both internally and internationally.

If you’d like, you can even sign up to join the SBU on that page. To qualify, you must be a citizen of Ukraine over the age of 18 with no criminal record. If you join, you are prohibited from being a member of a political party, having another part-time job, or engaging in any business activities.
