A senior Hezbollah commander was reportedly the target of the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) when they struck Beirut today in an apparent act of retaliation against a recent Hezbollah bombing of the Golan Heights. That attack hilled 12 children and youths. It should be noted that Hezbollah has denied any responsibility for that attack.

The IDF has released the following statement on the matter:

“The IDF carried out a targeted strike in Beruit on the commander responsible for the murder of the children in Majdal Shams and the killing of numerous additional Israeli civilians.”
