The protests in Iran appear to be dying down.

There were fewer reports of protests across the country and less of a police presence in Tehran on Tuesday night, according to the BBC.

On Wednesday, Iran’s elite Revolutionary Guards were deployed to three provinces and a number of pro-government demonstrations were also held. The Guard’s leader, Maj. Gen. Mohammad Ali Jafari, claimed the “sedition” was defeated.
