Russian-backed Separatists in Ukraine use apartments and structures occupied by civilians and then complain to Russian journalist that the Ukrainian Army is firing on civilians. All the while, the Russian-backed Separatists continue firing on Ukrainian positions from the homes of civilians. War is ugly, but uglier when the bad guys use civilians as human shields – cowards.

We should change our position before they counterfire.

Firing the AGS-17 Plamya (A Russian Automatic Grenade Launcher). The launcher has 800m point target range and 1700m max range. Given the angle, the launcher is positioned, it is doubtful that the airport is anywhere near point target range. The Russian-backed Separatists are using indirect fire and shifting fire via information directed by a forward observer.
