Man with axe attacks passengers at a train station in Germany

Düsseldorf, Germany– A man was arrested after attacking passengers with an axe at the Düsseldorf train station. “Several people” were  reportedly injured in the attack but the severity of the injuries and number of injured are unknown at this time. The identity of the man arrested has not been released. A second person may have also been arrested but details on their involvement are unknown at this time. Trains have been diverted from that station until the investigation is complete. Last year, a man was fatally shot after a similar attack in Wurzburg, Germany. More to follow.
