Quang Tri Combat Base

Ink and Watercolor Framed

14″ x 18″

2021

About the Artist: Depicting an evening at Quang Tri Combat Base in Vietnam, Cyrus Quadland captures the chaos and danger surrounding the firework “like” exhibit of war including the courageous helicopter pilots and crews. He specifically created this artwork to honor the courage of soldiers throughout time, shared experiences with memories of a time when survival was not guaranteed.

Unlike Quang Tri Combat Base, Cy’s artwork typically captures beautiful landscapes, graphic novels, and published children’s books both illustrated and written by him.
